Some of the systems are mission-critical, and the team is therefore on standby for urgent faults. Marine Technology is also responsible for the Swedish Maritime Administration's central warehouse in Norrköping, which also houses a workshop for manufacturing and repairs. In addition, Marine Technology is responsible for property management and janitorial services at the headquarters in Norrköping.

The Leadership Role
Your role as the head of Marine Technology will be to lead the work, support and develop your employees, and together with them, develop the business. You will have personnel responsibility for 29 employees. The leadership role includes responsibility for the work environment, budget, and operations. For daily matters, you will have operational support from three experienced team leaders. You will be part of the management team for the Construction and Technology business area, which is responsible for the management and maintenance of the infrastructure in shipping lanes and other technical support systems.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone interested in leading a technical operation and driven by collaboration and leadership. To be considered for the position, you need to have current and extensive leadership experience that includes personnel and work environment responsibility for a larger frontline staff. It is advantageous if you have professional experience from shipping environments, experience in fieldwork, and an understanding of maritime technical conditions. If you have electrical qualifications, it is advantageous as much of the team's work involves measures in various types of electrical systems.

We place great importance on leadership qualities such as your ability to be communicative by both conveying a clear message and actively listening to and incorporating others' opinions. Therefore, we want you to have a high level of collaboration skills with a good ability to build and maintain good relationships.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, can take initiative, and has the ability to lead the operation and your employees towards high goal achievement. You need to have a business-oriented mindset and a drive for improvements and development that can streamline operations. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. For us, it is obvious to prioritize the work environment above all, and we want you to share that perspective.

Since the operation is conducted in several locations in Sweden, regular travel is included in the position, and a B driver's license is therefore a requirement.
